With the eight days of pre-season testing out the way, teams are now in Melbourne, just one day away from the Australian GP and with all their data and cars to suit.

Who Was Fastest In Testing?

Ferrari were on top, with Kimi Raikkonen being the only man on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya track to get below 1m 19s. The Finn's time being quicker than that of, Lewis Hamilton's 2016 pole time of 1m 22s.

Then came Mercedes, Williams and Red Bull, all of who were within a second of Raikkonen, with Toro Rosso heading the midfield runners. Only two teams were to finish more than two seconds off the pace - McLaren and Sauber

The Perfect Lap?

Kimmi Raikkonen clocked the fastest lap time of the tests around Baecelona. Had he strung them sector times together in a single lap, he would have had a very respectable lap time of 1m 18.582s, which would have been an improvement on the quickest time he actually acheived, fairly impressive.
